I am an alumni of La Salle University with a B.A in Digital Art and Multimedia Design (2013). That program is where I fell in love with Web Design & Development. It created such a love for technology that I went on to receive my M.S in IT with a Web Design concentration from Southern New Hampshire University (2017). I see myself evolving into a hybrid role that requires design, development & Project Management skills to become an asset to an organization. Now that I have finished my master's program I want to pursue Project Management to round off my education. I am currently enrolled at Thomas Edison State University pursuing a graduate certificate in Project Management and I have applied for my PMP certification from the Project Manangement Institute. Other notable aspects include: Treasurer's award Receipient for my work on the Pensions & Benefits website (Sept. 2017), holding a Public Trust Security Clearance for my work at the FAA (Nov. 2015), and holding a clearance through the Department of Defense at the Secret Level. (2019)
The last major website project I took on was a redesign of the Pensions & Benefits website for the New Jersey Department of Treasury. In an 11 month period I was tasked with being the lead project Manager and sole Web Developer for the project. This project is completely done by hand and I was able to organize the site from 1,100+ pages down to 150.
The skills utilizied for this website were: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Twitter Bootsrap, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Suite, Project Management, FTP, Microsoft Office Suite, Responsive Design and Graphic Design
I have had the pleasure of working alongside Louis as a student at La Salle, as a co-worker, and as a fellow freelance designer. Louis is extremely passionate about everything he does, and I am always impressed not only by his ability to juggle multiple roles (attending grad school while working full time), but also by the amount of care and effort he puts into each new undertaking. He takes the time to learn every aspect of his craft in detail, and the result is clearly reflected in his work.
Louis is an extremely hard worker, driven by passion, and quick to jump on opportunities when he sees them. As a classmate, his work ethic was something to be admired and his work was always top quality. He was open to new ideas and there if I ever needed advice or inspiration, of which he was happy to give. After school, he was quick to share his experiences, to the point that he would even invite me along whenever possible to see the impressive stuff he was working on for clients. He's a talented designer, a dedicated worker, and a spectacular friend.
Louis is a very skilled Web Developer and did an awesome job for us at the FAA! He has a friendly demeanor an a very pleasant person. He has a strong understanding of web design and developing. He constantly communicated with colleagues.
